Based on their love of the Limpopo bushveld, nature, the roar of lions, African night skies, curling smoke from a cozy camp fire and good camaraderie, a long time dream of Tom Shearer and Viv Bristow was realised in February 2005 with the building of the Kolobe Tented Camp within the Ranch conservancy.

The camp is tucked away within the 1000 hectare conservancy to ensure complete privacy. It is designed totally appropriately to its bush surroundings and includes a fully equipped kitchen, canteen facilities, ablution block, camp fire lapa area and ample space to enjoy outdoor activities.
The tents are built on raised cement slabs with their own groundsheets and natural airflow design for maximum comfort and protection from the elements. This selection makes Kolobe the ideal setting for church groups, school groups, 4x4 enthusiasts, team building events and sporting groups.
As a venue for team building and personal development, it is highly recommended. On offer is a variety of teambuilding activities held in conjunction with TAG Consulting and Training who offer professional supervision and organisation.
